Civil Litigation – Estate & Guardianship Litigation
Stephen has appeared before all levels of courts in Ontario and has acted as counsel in numerous civil cases involving estate litigation matters, including will challenges, powers of attorney and guardianship matters, real estate litigation, personal injury, commercial litigation, and professional discipline cases. He has substantial trial and appellate experience and delivers practical and wise advice to clients.
Wills and Estates – Non-contentious
He consults on and prepares wills and trusts, processes estates. He also provides representation for foreign beneficiaries of wills and estates in Canada.
Corporate and Commercial Transactions
His office handles business purchases and sales, incorporations (provincial or federal), commercial agreements, and shareholder agreements.

Mediation and Arbitration
With considerable legal experience and additional training from the LL.M. ADR program at the Ontario Osgoode Hall Law School and at the ADR program at the Conrad Grebel University College at the University of Waterloo, and also at the advanced negotiation and advanced mediation program at the Straus Institute of Pepperdine University in Malibu California, Stephen provides mediation and conflict resolution services to a multitude of clients.
Studies have shown that the alternative dispute resolution process has a high success rate due to its flexibility, informality, and cost savings. Adverse parties in both litigated and non-litigated cases can decide on a date, place, and location to address a matter without being restricted to a slow-moving court timeline.
